We are in serious shit. The Dow went below 9,000 for the first time in five years. It has fallen 5,000 points in the last year. That's 8.3 trillion bucks. It fell 678.91 points this afternoon. That is quite scary. I don't even open my monthly investment statements anymore. Why bother? It's just going to depress me, and there's nothing I can do anyway. So in the trash they go.
As depressing as the economy is for us normal people, can you imagine being a trader? Ack.
